About Eros-X
Our Story
We were just minding our own business when the Great and Mighty Eros descended from above the clouds. He spoke to us and warned us of a calamitous crisis. The world was severely lacking in love and would soon be headed towards disaster. There was a desperate need for a brand to address this challenge through the iconic produce of the lands he cherished: Greek Olive Oil. He then decreed that the task would fall to us.
While we appreciated his concerns and felt very special to have the opportunity for direct communication with a Greek God, we politely declined and told Eros that we really had other stuff to do. As we walked away, at a fairly brisk pace, Eros raised his bow and shouted “AGÁPI"! Suddenly we felt a rush of love towards completing his task. How had we been so foolish? The fate of the world was in the balance!
All doubts in our mind were vanquished. Our senses could not possibly be more aroused, our purpose could not be more clear and the importance of our mission could not be understated. Eros then imparted us with more wisdom. This Olive Oil should be the extra virgin type and only produced in Greece from the finest olives, not mixed in with some barbaric inferior oils.
Indeed, it must be so potent as to achieve an extraordinary arousal of the senses while being very simple to use. Thus the task was undertaken and it must be fulfilled. For love, for harmony, for Eros, for the world! And in appreciation of how sharp his arrows look when he points them at us.
That is the story of Eros-X.
